Crescent Lake is 7 miles from the Crescent Lake trailhead. At mile 45 of the Sterling Hwy, turn on to Quartz Creek Road and travel 3.5 miles (past Quartz Creek and Crescent Creek campgrounds) to the trailhead. Crescent Lake can also be reached by hiking 4 miles from Carter Lake trailhead at mile 34 of the Seward Hwy.
