Winter may limit hiking on many regional trails if you forgot snowshoes, but Eaglecrest Ski Area opens up ski trails for your outdoor enjoyment when the snow gets deep. If the idea of public ski trails doesn't wax your skis, get off the snow-plowed path with a cross-country tour organized by the City Parks and Recreation Department.
