Description

Tokun Lake has a good run of sockeye salmon and the only lake trout population on the District. The lake is accessible by float plane. This is one of the more remote lakes and there is no cabin or shelter. Brown bears also take a keen interest in the salmon run, so if you stay overnight, be sure to camp well away from the outlet stream or any bear trails along the lake. For more information call the Cordova Ranger District at (907) 424-7661.
