By air, Skagway is about 45 minutes by commuter flight from Juneau, the major connection hub for air travel to this part of the state. A number of local and national air carriers offer daily flights from Juneau to other destinations around the world.

Basic Directions
Skagway is one of the few cities along the Inside Passage of southeast Alaska to be connected by road to other major cities. From the Alaska Highway through Canada to the north, the turnoff is near the Yukon's capitol of Whitehorse, from which it's about 120 miles south to Skagway and Haines.
